Milton is a town in Southern Ontario, Canada, and part of the Halton Region in the Greater Toronto Area. Between 2001 and 2011, Milton was the fastest growing municipality in Canada, with a 71.4% increase in population from 2001 to 2006 and another 56.5% increase from 2006 to 2011

Close to Downtown Toronto

Consisting of 365 square kilometres (141 sq mi) of land area,[10] Milton is located 40 km (25 mi) west of Downtown Toronto on Highway 401, and is the western terminus for the Milton line commuter train and bus corridor operated by GO Transit. Milton is situated on the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO world biosphere reserve and the Bruce Trail.

Begg Pool: Head here to enjoy lap swimming, water aerobics, swim lessons, classes, recreational swimming, and more.

Live Oak Park: Featuring Live Oak Field outfield, tennis courts, ping pong, restrooms, picnic areas, a dog run, basketball courts, and batting cages.

Manhattan Heights Park: Restrooms, picnic areas, playground, and various sports courts make this a great park to get a little exercise.

When this park isn’t operating as the ski and snowboard hill, Glen Eden, it is a playground for outdoor adventure, known as Kelso. In the spring, summer and fall, Kelso has an extensive network of trails that can be used for hiking or mountain biking, and a Challenge Course that provides an opportunity for visitors to push their limits and reach new heights. Families can stroll down the stroller-friendly boardwalk around the lake, take to the water with a canoe, kayak, paddleboat or stand-up paddleboard or just enjoy an afternoon at the lifeguarded beach.

Mountsberg is the park that has something for everyone, with so many experiences, activities and attractions. Take a short but sweet walk through the Sugar Bush, go for a longer hike on the Pioneer Creek Trail, find a spot to fish along the shore, or cast a line from your kayak or canoe. Don’t forget to drop in on your feathered friends at the Mountsberg Raptor Centre, hang out with the farm animals in the Animal Barn, and if you have any little animals of your own, bring them to climb, clamber and crawl on the natural playground. Please note that horseback riding is not permitted at Mountsberg.
